Bangla Awas Yojana List  2024

The Bangla Awas Yojana List has been made public by the West Bengal State Government, enabling those who have applied for the program to verify their names and obtain financial assistance for Kutcha house renovations. The recipients of the funds are the applicants whose names are on this list.

Objectives of Bangla Awas Yojana List  

The major objective of launching the Bangla Awas Yojana List is to prepare the list of all those applicants who have been shortlisted for getting the amount of incentive for constructing their new or pucca houses. The applicants will be able to get the amount of benefit soon transferred to their relevant bank account details. 

Another objective of launching the Bangla Awas Yojana List is to provide the list of applicants shortlisted for this scheme so that they will not have to wait too long to know their application status. Applicants will not have to take multiple rounds of government offices in order to check their names. 

Beneficiary Category 

The beneficiary category will also be taken into consideration while providing the list of eligible beneficiaries among the applicants. Applicants who have previously applied for this scheme living in kutcha houses will be able to check their names in this list in case if they have got approval. 

Beneficiary Limitation 

It is only on the basis of the beneficiary limitation that the applicants or residents will be able to get the amount of benefits being offered to them. A total of 1 crore of applicants will be able to get the amount of benefit being offered to them as this is the main beneficiary target. 

Unit Cost of Single Plot 

The unit cost of a single plot has been determined or has been fixed so that the applicants will be able to construct their new houses after knowing the rate of a single plot that has been offered. The government will offer an amount of Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/- for a single plot which can be the unit cost.

• The privilege of benefits under this List will only be extended to citizens who are included in the BAY list.
• The money allotted to residents for their home construction would be paid in three installments under the terms of the Bangla Awas Yojana New List.
